It is a beautiful 7 mile white, thin sand beach, with easy water entrance and comfortable swimming, on the sun-set (Gulf of Mexico) side of the Anna Maria Island. No beaches on the other side of the island.
Our section of the beach is away from public beaches and crowds.

Supermarket (Publix) is 5 minutes away, a number of good restaurants with various cuisines (seafood, American, fusion, Indian, Japanese, German, Mediterranean, French, Italian, etc).
Free trolley on the island for those, who does not want to drive, trolley stop is right by the building.
Bike, golf carts, paddle board, kayak and other rentals are 2 minutes away.
Tennis, golf, surfing diving and other activities with professional instructions are within 15 minutes drive.
The island is a national park, so you can watch manatee, dolphins and numerous birds, as well as fish right from the beach (license is very easy).
Sarasota National Opera and 2 modern concert halls with world class programs are within 40 minutes drive. Number of museums (the largest in the Western hemisphere Dali museum, Ringling museum and many others) all within close proximity. Most famous Florida theme parks of Orlando (Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc.) and Tampa (Busch Gardens) are within 2 hours drive, which is 3 times closer than from Miami.
Sarasota International Airport (SRQ) is 30 minutes drive, Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 1 hour drive, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 2 hours drive.
The guests shall have 24/7 access to one of the longest and cleanest beaches in the United States, with white sand, turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the most beautiful sunsets in the world!!!
Playa's courtyard, although sheltered in lush tropical vegetation, is perfectly landscaped, with large, heated pool, hot tub and a shuffleboard court. There are also 2 private tennis courts (guests can play tennis with owner's children, who are although young, but are USTA ranked players), and community room, which includes a sauna, library and meeting space. Assigned covered parking is available (ground level), as well plenty of guest parking. The building has two elevators.
The owner's family lives in the same building, therefore assistance shall be very prompt. We have been on the Island for several years and can recommend everything from dining to shopping to activities. Our family loves the island and we are confident you shall enjoy it too.

This is a no-smoking condominium, which does not allow pets (unfortunately). Owners expect courteous behavior and adherence to the condominium policies, which are not strict at all and mostly related to not being noisy after hours.
