*Large events weddings in general are not bookings we conduct through AirBnB. There's more that goes into booking a wedding venue then simply an AirBnB booking. Rates vary depending on number of guest and requirements such as event insurance, renting porta potties, caterers, photographers, on-site property manger for event, and more. Feel free to inquire through AirBnB if you have questions but the booking will be conducted outside this system.*

-**Filming - Contact us directly, like wedding this isn't a booking conducted through AirBnB. Be ready to provide commercial insurance with Joshua Desert Retreats mentioned as one of the insured, shoot time and duration, equipment planning to use list...and more. Again as weddings there is more that goes into allowing you to use our property for production also our rates vary depending on project and needs.**

Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out location. Hosts were attentive and kind.

We rented WikiZen for a celebration of love for two friends who are getting married in July. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect spot. The houses were each beautifully decorated, well stocked, and completely relaxing. They even allowed us to bring along the pups for a small fee, which was great. The binders full of info made the check in and check out process simple. Nick was kind and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

WORST AIRBNB EXPERIENCE.....I rented both homes to host my son's 18th bday, our goal was to ride the ATV's that we rented, even though the contract had a paragraph about ATV riding restrictions, it wasn't clear so I emailed Nick before renting home and ATV's and he said yes they were allowed, only to find out after we arrived that they could only be used on the dirt roads leading in and out of the home, after calling Nick all he had to say was "why is it a problem to just ride on those roads?" I don't think anyone pays a lot of money just to ride up and down a road. We have to drive over an hour out of our way just to ride them for the day and then he had the nerve to try and charge me for ATV marks left in the dirt when we unloaded them. I also wouldn't consider a bed being placed in the larger master closet a fourth bedroom. I have used Air BnB several times and also host my own Air BnB and this way by far the worst experience I've had and such a waste of ALOT of money. Nick knows his property not me so when I asked if I could have ATVs he should have been clearer on the restrictions.
Linda DESTROYED the NATURAL LANDSCAPE by zipping around on ATV's which in our agreement state are ok as long as you don't destroy our property and to stay on drive-able surfaces. Due to this incident going forward all ATV are prohibited on any Joshua Desert Retreats getaway homes. LINDA FELT ENTITLED TO DESTROY PROPERTY BECAUSE OF RENTAL RATES!

We had a great time staying at Wikiup and Zen-Go for my 30th birthday. Easy access to the park, great amenities, it was an unforgettable experience.

A group of 14 of us rented out the combined WikiUp and ZenGo houses for my wife's 30th birthday and it was amazing. The houses are beautiful with loads of amenities and places to hang out; the scenery is absolutely fantastic; and the houses are pretty remote, which was something we all really liked! Honestly, I wish I could just live on one of these properties all the time. Nick was great, and very communicative. We will definitely be back sometime in the future!

Nick is a gentleman and the wikiup/wiki zen property combination was splendid! Just enough room for everyone with both properties made for a super relaxing stay in this beautiful and well thought out vacation home ! Love these properties! The stars at night are out of this world and Nick is a super host. Perfect birthday weekend! : )

Awesome location and amenities! Everything you could want for a large group! The pool and jacuzzi were such a great lounge activity out in the desert. Easy to get from one house to another.

I grew up in Hawaii, so I know about being connected to the natural life force of the land. I bought my first house in this area 20 years ago to use as a getaway with family and friends. They all said, "You're from Hawaii; what are you doing in the desert?" But the desert is very much like Hawaii; nature has been supported, not paved over. I soon started to rent out that house, buy others in the area, and now I own 14 desert homes that I rent out through my company, Joshua Desert Retreats. This area has become a destination for artists, but it seems like everyone in Southern California at one time or another growing up has gone camping in Joshua Tree National Park, so we get a lot of ex-campers, too. These house's technically isn't in any town, and getting to some requires driving along a dirt road. The town of Twentynine Palms is home to the main entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and only 15 minutes away from any of the properties.
