Relaxing and peaceful are the first things that come to mind. My experience exceeded my expectations. Communication and booking were super prompt. I felt like any question of mine would be answered immediately. Responses to my texts were almost instantaneous. I sat around and read a book on the porch without seeing a soul all day. It was divine. Jen came by on my first morning to make sure I had everything I needed but aside from that, I was completely alone with nature. My hike included a hammock rest by the stream and a beautiful stroll through a stand of gorgeous hemlock trees. When I went to make a fire, I discovered that one had already been built for me in the stove. All I had to do was light a match and relax! It’s a very comfortable place with very clean, comfortable bathroom facilities. I highly recommend the sauna! I’ll be back!!! Highly recommended!

It is amazing. Three nights was not enough--I want to continue finding my ground staying with my family in this place. The cabin, grounds and amenities were just as described, with some lovely painted signs to make things clear, e.g. stacked wood for the wood burning stove, trail directions, and reminders to breathe. There is beautiful hiking and a mountain brook that felt like it came out of a dream. (Except for the hornets we discovered inhabiting a log!) The place is wooded, for sure. You can just barely make out the next yurt or building through the trees. Maybe. If you know where to look. Fortunately the paths are clear. The cabin had all that we needed. A little to our surprise, we found that the cabin had interior lights and some standalone solar lights for the front stairs. Those were very helpful in getting settled in after dark. We also found that the fire circle outside had grate we could put on top of it. The water was wonderful, and I found that refilling the jugs was easier than I'd anticipated. The composting toilet was also far swankier than I'd imagined and was delightfully not smelling as one might think. We loved this place. We will be back for sure.

I absolutely loved my stay at Nurture Through Nature. I stayed 5 nights in Robin's Nest and found the cabin to have everything I needed, and not too much more. Very conscious design for getting minimal, and back to nature. The property is secluded, yet not completely off the grid. There is nice, quiet hiking, an amazing sauna, and wonderful sweet silence for meditation. About a 15 minute drive sways is a great local organic farm stand, Weston's, and a health food store, spice & Grain. I cooked and at local goods the entire time. If you're looking to get away from the city (like me, midtown manhattan), I can't recommend this enough. It really allowed me to relax and reset.

My husband & I stayed in the Robin's Nest for three nights and it was absolutely amazing. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and it was so cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed simple living and the peace and quiet of it all. We hiked the mountain, trails, adventured through the brooks and swam in the natural swimming pools. I enjoyed swinging in the hammock along the hiking trails. We had a private sauna session which was a neat experience too. If you need a break from the heat you can cool off by pouring some natural spring water over you that they provide in the sauna or you can step outside and cool off by taking an invigorating dip in the brook. Every detail at Nurture Through Nature was so carefully well thought out. Jen has really created such an amazing place. It is an absolute nature lovers dream!!! My only complaint is that the rope hammock at our cabin was already partially broken before we arrived and was hanging over a really large rock. I would've loved to have fully been able to enjoy it. It looks like that is the only rope hammock and there are fabric hammocks at the other cabin, yurts and along the trails. Excellent place to go unwind, relax and explore the beauty of nature!!!!! I would love to go again.

Gorgeous, incredibly peaceful and very special place in the woods. It has been created with such thought and care. We had everything we needed and were happy to practice doing without some luxuries that are so easy to take for granted, such as no running water in the house. We were happily plunged into a simpler, slower life much more in touch with nature. The grounds has so much to explore- lovely, secluded swimming holes, meditation walk, beautiful hikes. The sauna was an incredible experience. Be careful driving up the hill beyond the first parking lot without four wheel drive in bad weather- we ended up getting stuck. Sounds like most of the time this isn't an issue. Enjoy!!!

The Robin’s nest is a great place to disconnect from work and enjoy nature in a very cozy cabin. Our kids loved to explore the forest. Highly recommended! Plus, the area around the cabin is full if hikes and child-friendly river and lake beaches. Great farms and organic products in the area completed our weekend with the kids in Denmark, Maine.

The Robin nest is a nice cabin in the middle of the woods. We loved it even if the mosquitos might be a killer mood, but still, it was fun. The dipping pools, the sauna, the location, everything was very nice. We would have loved a better tracking of the trails (and the maps that Jen gaves us) because we didn't find our way... But it might be our fault too. It was a very nice weekend and you'll find anything you need in the cabin including peace and quiet atmosphere, something we all crave for even if we don't know it. Resourceful!
