The upstairs room is in our Bunkhouse, part of our beautiful oceanfront campground. This is one of the prettiest places on our rockbound coast. The room is clean and quiet. There is no kitchen or bath in the bunkhouse, however, linens and towels are provided. There is a $25.00 fee for extra guests, over 2, this fee along with sales tax should be paid upon arrival.
The Bunkhouse sits just a few minutes walk from our shoreline. There are two single beds, a small table, two chairs, and a bureau. There is a tiny deck with room for 2 chairs. It is an insulated space with a heater downstairs if needed. Parking is just outside the door. The bathhouse with hot showers is 100 yards up our driveway. Ocean front decks, beautiful views. Linens are provided.
You will have access to our ocean front facility which includes rental kayaks, canoes, sailboats, stand up paddle boards, and bikes.
We have daily eco tours going through the archipelago to see a lighthouse, seals, and to stop at an uninhabited island to swim in a quarry pond. Lobster traps are hauled as well.
If you want lessons or guided trips on your kayaking adventure or sailing lessons we do that as well.
We also have a campground store and take out restaurant cooking lobster all day long.
We are adjacent to a 50 acre park with hiking trails and a beautiful scenic view at the top.
All day every day if you want it.
This is a destination location. People come from around the world to sail and boat in these waters. Over 60 beautiful islands are within a half hour boat trip.
It is highly suggested that you stay at least 2 nights so that you can see Stonington and get out on the water for a boat trip.
Quiet time is from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am.
Be considerate of your neighbors in the bunkhouse.
