From viewing Barbra’s home online to pulling out of the driveway when we left…WOW what an amazing trip. Right from the start Barbara sent things for my family to do based on our various interests. She answered all our questions and was extremely fast with her response. The home was more beautiful in person! We traveled with a family a six including my parents and two sons (11 and 14). We were greeted with a warm welcome and smile. The house was beyond clean and so comfortable and felt like it was our home. The conversation pit was a favorite place in the morning as we talked about our day and read books. We only stayed 4 night and 5 days and I recommend a 7-10-day stay. There was much more to see and do. The house was a short walk to the falls and the firework were amazing at night. My parents were able to see them right from the house. When the house description says that the kitchen is stocked, it is an understatement. When you arrive, there is breakfast waiting with a bottle of champagne for immediate celebration or mimosas for breakfast. If you need anything Barbara is there with an immediate response using the messaging in Airbnb, but also gives you all the privacy you want. I have used many Airbnb’s and this experience was outstanding. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again when we return.
A few things about the area. We wish would have spent more time at Niagara on the Lake (NOTL). It is a quant town with adorable shops, beer tasting at the “Exchange” There was something for my whole family there. I recommend that you check it out. My dad, husband, boys and I went white water boating on a Whirlpool Jetboat. The view from Tower was amazing and it is free if you eat there. We ate a late lunch because it’s cheaper than dinner. We went on the Maid of the Mist as a tradition however, there is no obstructed views on the Hornblower, so I would recommend that boat. My boys, husband and I went to the cave of the winds on the US side and were able to touch the falls, great experience. We drove to the hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, which is not a bad drive (2 hrs one way), but it will take up most of the day. I hope this helps. Without a doubt, we would recommend this home to someone else and would definitely stay there when we return. THANKS SO MUCH BARBARA!
