Cozy Camping Cabin Overlooking Banks Lake on 20 acres. Off the grid with great morning sunrises over the lake, wonderful evenings watching the campfire and distant town lights, and terrific stargazing from an outdoor bed. (Note: Fire ban is in place for the rest of the summer but you can still cook on the BBQ. )
This little 160 sq ft cabin faces Banks Lake from about 2 miles away. There is no power or water but there are plenty of lanterns, solar lights and a hand pump water supply to the sink, a private composting outhouse and an on demand propane fired outdoor shower. There is a double daybed inside and a cozy fireplace, covered porch that has a comfy double bed in the summer and also an optional outdoor bed when weather permits, for the best ever stargazing! There is a 20 acre maze of walking/running/cross country ski trails and a nice firepit for outdoor cooking when the fire ban isn't on. There is also a propane bbq, a coffee pot, coffee, cutlery and paper plates. Great, private spot to relax or explore the area!
Neighborhood consists of rabbits, grouse, coyotes and snakes. It's real camping!
Guests have access to 20 acres of trails and sagebrush.
I can interact with guests as much as they like or give them total, uninterrupted privacy.
I ask that you keep your pets off the furniture and carpets or bring a dog bed for them. I am a dog lover but it's really difficult to clean up their hair with no power at the cabin. Thanks!
