Hi Sheena, Thanks for your comments. We are working hard to try and reduce the cleaning fees for the cottage. Its a small village and as we live so far away we must use a local cleaner. Whether staying for 2 nights or 2 weeks the house still needs cleaning from top to bottom which is a lot of work as its spread over 3 floors, as I am sure you can understand. We are cheaper per night than other cottages in the village to try and even out the overall costs per stay. However, apologies you found these fees were too high. The car park by the school is actually a public car park and only 3 out of the 18 spaces reserved for the school teachers so whether the weekend or not there is usually spaces in car park or on the road up the hill by the pub. Many thanks for your comments and again apologies I wasn't able to accommodate you for the extra night you requested. Feel free to get in touch if your in the area in the future as it would be a pleasure to have you stay again. Thanks again, Ant
