2 bedroom Garden Apartment Brilliantly located in the heart of Bundeena
Welcome to “Le Chamarel”, your fully independent apartment with its own separate entrance. You're only 300m from the IGA precint, its cute cafés and its weekend crafts market; and even less from our closest beach the secluded Gunyah hideaway. A little further you come to Jibbon beach and its Aboriginal carvings and jagged headland. Otherwise, just follow the street signs to the Coastal walk to Wattamolla and even beyond.

Your 2 bedroom apartment is fully self-contained and private and has a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette which adjoins a small dining area. There’s also a large patio-like space at your disposal, situated just next to our Games room. This outdoor area is equipped with cooking/dining facilities for a sit-down family meal while overlooking the sun-drenched garden. The 2 bedrooms are compact and comfortable: one has a double bed, the other a king single. In addition a large tv/utility room contains a four-seater sofa, a desk as well as two single bunk beds. That’s for those people or kids that you want to keep away from as night begins to fall, to get them to watch a dvd or Netflix while you’re busy enjoying your quiet drink outdoors or you're using the cosy reading corner to just relax. It's your choice!

Wifi is readily available. You have direct access from the apartment to our washing machine and dryer. We provide all linen for bedding, also bathroom towels but not beach towels. The kitchenette comes with some basic supplies such as coffee and tea. Weekly or long term stays are negotiable, depending on occupancy. A dedicated off-street parking spot for you is right at the front of the house.

Bundeena is located in Dharawal country and was once in time immemorial a well-known Aboriginal coastal landmark. It has the unique characteristic (with the neighbouring village of Maianbar) of being a small township founded in the early 1890s by Europeans right in the middle of the Royal National Park, and so it is accessible from Sydney only by road from the Princes Highway and/or by ferry from Cronulla. A popular haunt for renowned artists, musicians and nature lovers, Bundeena is currently a thriving and tight-knit community where young professionals combine with older locals to cultivate a love of the beach as well as the peace and quiet of the bush.

Philippe with daughter Anouk and other family members regularly occupy the upper level of the house. We’re very familiar with the park’s attractions, so do not hesitate to ask. In turn we ask that all OUTSIDE lights be turned off by 10PM as a good neighbourly gesture. No parties please, also no pets. And of course no smoking, as you don’t want to be accused of starting a bushfire. Please ensure your rubbish is packed and placed in the bins provided before your leave, otherwise the birds will get to it.
