Out East Backpackers is a fun, welcoming and spacious hostel run by backpackers for backpackers. Our goal is to provide budget accommodation in the heart of Gros Morne National Park

We took an old grocery store and completely renovated it into a boutique hostel experience. We've embraced open concept design with our main hall stretching the whole length of the building, and it's here that you'll find our lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Along the sides of the hall are all of our rooms, which provides our space with a very social environment. If you're looking for some privacy we've got you covered as well; designed by a well traveled backpacker, our dorms have pod-style bunk-beds with each bunk having it's own power outlet, light, and curtains, so you can retreat into your own world at the end of a long day.
