Lissy's Cabin is the perfect place to find all the joys of a rustic experience with the relaxation of modern comforts. Located just 20 minutes off the number 8 highway in the beautiful Grinstone Provincial Park on a private, treed lot. The Cabin has just been winterized and is ready for your cozy little getaway in the snow.
A note about CODE RED: Only household bookings allowed at the moment. The cabin (as always) is cleaned and sanitized between each guest, following Airbnb cleaning protocol.

- There are 3 bedrooms inside the cabin, 1 on the main floor off the kitchen and 2 upstairs. The master upstairs has a small balcony with sliding glass doors, the perfect space for morning coffee.
- Perfect for individual(s) or couple(s) retreats, but ready for families looking for a cozy place to vacation. I come from a large family that loves to camp together so I am very willing to work with larger groups and families with children. There is room for tenting in the yard if your group will overflow the cabin. I will need every guest to be registered, there may be an additional fee for groups that exceed 8 people.
- The yard has a large firepit (lawn chairs not provided).
- There is a newly installed pellet stove in the living room to keep you warm in the cooler months.
- There is a little trail through the trees behind the cabin that leads to a lovely walking trail. Would be great for skiiing or snow shoeing in the winter time too.
- the cabin is fully winterized and has base board heat as well as the pellet stove.

Within the park, there is a beach, picnic shelter, boat launch, and walking trails. Guests would have access to all these within walking distance from the cabin.
There is also a store/gas station and a boat launch located within the park, a less than 5 minute drive from the cabin.
Looking for a day trip to add to your travel itinerary? The Park is close to Hecla Island which is a great attraction to explore. It takes just under an hour to get to Gimli if you're looking to walk the pier, explore some shops, or eat out at a restaurant.
