The Carrick Luxury Lodge Pod with 2 person wooden, wood burning hot tub is nestled amongst the Carrick Hills in South Ayrshire, South West Scotland.

Large sofa bed
Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink

Enjoy views across the Galloway Forest, beautiful surroundings and wildlife such as squirrels, deer, owls, pheasants and our on site peacocks. Take time out to enjoy superb walking in the beautiful and historic surroundings, with golf and fishing on hand too. Embrace the countryside and once the sun sets admire the amazing dark skies as we are only 11 miles away from the Galloway Forest Park, the first Dark Sky Park in the UK.

We are situated on the borders of South Ayrshire and Dumfries so it makes an excellent base to explore South west Scotland and the many attractions it has to offer.
The Park is situated on the edge of Barrhill. This historic 'martyrs' village has a shop, a bowling green and a large redeveloped play park with an all weather multi-user games area and picnic/ bar-be-que area which must be one of the best play parks in South Ayrshire.
The Galloway Forest Park is only a short drive away and has walking paths, 7stanes mountain bike trails and of course the amazing dark skies!!
Please have a look at our guide book for what this area has to offer....you may need to stay for a while to fit it all in!!
