Experience the absolute quiet of our all-adobe southwestern home. Enjoy your own private entrance and private bath, access to our gourmet kitchen and the riverside trails directly behind the house. If the weather is warm, feel free to hang out in the walled patio and watch the hummingbirds.
Located in a rural village between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, this unique adobe home is owned by a couple who have spent their lives in the performing and literary arts. Corrales is a true New Mexican village. The house is situated on a beautiful acequia (ditch bank) with a trail that provides walking, jogging, biking and horse-riding paths among treasured cottonwood trees. Art galleries, fine restaurants and distinctive shops are located nearby. You can rent bikes in the village, too.
Corrales is close to everything, yet far away in spirit from the big city. This hidden gem offers visitors a glimpse into the past with its restored hacienda and historic mission church and historic adobe architecture.
Your room includes a private entrance, private bath, queen bed, ample closet and drawer space, cable TV/stereo system, DVD and wireless. A wonderful gourmet kitchen is available for your use along with a huge cookbook collection. There is a library full of books about travel and history in New Mexico and the west.
This is a favorite stopping place for balloonists. Balloon Fiesta Park and Anderson Abruzzo Balloon museum are only 15 minutes away. Undiscovered Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, Santa Fe and six Indian Pueblo villages are all less than an hour away.
On your tour of our home, you will see an outstanding collection of Navajo rugs, Pueblo pottery and Hopi Kachinas along with contemporary paintings, sculpture and photography.
Guests have access to the riverside trail beside the house. Feel free to use our kitchen, patio and library full of books about the New Mexico and the west.
