The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.

My overall experience was good. Razia is a very accommodating host. Her place is very clean and well kept. The only negatives are the guest room where we slept was VERY bright at night due to street lights and neighbours lights. The amenities describe that there is a TV. What isn't mentioned is that it is shared with Razia and her son which makes it awkward and not very private. Other than that it was a good place to stay.
Thank you for staying with us and the feedback. Your comment reminded me of my mom :) She also likes a pitch black room to sleep in. It's understood. I wish you had said something, I would have run out and bought black film to place behind the blinds for you. One of the things about staying in someone's home is that one has to be open to sharing open space. We didn't see or hear you in the mornings and saw that you're both very quiet people. We also thought maybe you're extra protective of your teen since she didn't come in until you checked out my home first. It was this understanding that had me leave our home on both Saturday and Sunday nights. So, to give you space and privacy :-). Sorry if we weren't around. We were just thinking to be thoughtful of you. Best of wishes in all your days and nights.

Razia is an incredibly welcoming host. Her property is in the middle of a great community with lots of walking/jogging paths in scenic Northern Virginia. The home is very comfortable, including the bed in the available room. My wife and I stayed for two weeks, and we loved that the home seemed close to everything. The airport was a short drive away, as was small towns like Manassas and Warrenton. It was also a short drive to the park and ride, where I was able to easily visit DC and not worry about parking the car. Great location, great property, and a great host! I highly recommend staying with Razia.

I work for Boeing and live for adventure!!!

I live with my 12 year old sweet, considerate and respectful son during the week. He is visiting his father every other weekend. So, you may meet him, you may not. I couldn't list a second room since it's not always available but when he's at his dad's home, his room is also available for rent. If you are traveling with a boy, his room is perfect. It is spiderman theme all over!!!

I've lived in the area for 26 years. I love the region. I welcome all my guests with a bottle of white or red wine as a representation of the wine country surrounding my home! I enjoy the quietness of the valleys and mountains for hiking, meditating, visiting wineries (of course) and the great fun of downtown Washington DC. I absolutely love the culture and history our capital offers. I love meeting different people from different walks of life and learning about different cultures. History is all around this area with Civil War trails, Bull Run Park, Luray Caverns, Shanandoah National Park and so much more. Unlike in many states, the nation's Greatest Museums await your visit free of charge. I am never bored here. There's so much to see, taste, smell, and do!!!

I love to golf, hike, swim, play tennis, dance, and run ~ I've ran two half marathons, this year. I have a right handed ladies golf set, tennis rackets (and tennis balls), basketballs and a his and hers bikes that you are welcome to enjoying during your stay in my home. I also love to cook. Please let me know in the morning if you'd like to join my son and I for dinner. I'd be happy to cook another serving or two. You may pay what you like for the meals I cook. The rule is if you don't like it, you don't pay for it. I promise not to make anything that I won't put into my own body or my son's. I'm a health conscious cook. You will never find any type of fried goods, chips or sodas in my home. No ice cream either because I'd rather make a trip out of it and go out for ice cream and quality time with my son. I fill the fridge with pure juices, milk, filtered water, organic fruits/veggies, and whatever I've cooked or am going to cook that night.

The most daring thing I've ever done is skydiving! AND, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Seeing the earth from up above felt so freeing. It made me wish I was born a bird!!! If it weren't so darn expensive, I'd be doing it every weekend.

I was born in Afghanistan and have lived here since the age of ten. I love to travel. My last trip was to Turkey, Lebanon, and Italy, last year. I hope to travel to a new country at least once yearly. I love for my son to learn and see the world for the beauty that it has to offer. I find little heavens on earth everywhere, I visit. The last heaven I discovered was in Tampa, FL. I fell in love with its serene beaches and guaranteed sunsets ~ even on a cloudy and rainy day. It was just so lovely. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I have a large fun, loving, and a little crazy family that I love and adore!!!
They live all around me. And are my biggest fans and supporters in all that I am and all that I do.

I look forward to seeing and hosting you soon.
Cheers :-)
