This detached house enjoys a lovely rual area, perfect for a big family to expore the countryside together, returning after to the cosy wood burner. . Ground Floor:
Step to entrance.
Living room: With wood burner, 50" Freeview TV, DVD player, wooden floor and French doors leading to the orangery.
Dining room: With wooden floor and French doors leading to garden.
Kitchen: With range with double electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and oak floor.
Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.
Orangery: With tiled floor and seating area.
Separate toilet.. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With double bed.
Bedroom 3: With double bed.
Bedroom 4: With twin beds.
Bathroom: With roll-top bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Welcome pack.. Enclosed lawned garden with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. Hot tub (private, £50 per booking). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 5 steps in the garden. This property has a security deposit of £150.. Cwmy Fantais is the perfect spot to relax, unwind and take in all this beautiful area has to offer, nestled at the end of a private lane deep within the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside and on the edge of a small hamlet called Pontantwyn. The house is just a few minutes’ drive from the market town of Carmarthen and the historic village of Kidwelly.
This spacious, detached house was lovingly restored in 2018 to a good standard back to its former glory. The ancient town of Kidwelly is a 5-minute drive away and is really worth a visit with a plethora of shops, restaurants and one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales. Pembrey Country Park is around 10-minutes away and is fantastic for busy families, complete with 500-acres of woodland, dry ski slope, toboggan run and the picture postcard Cefn Sidan Sands covering 8 miles of golden beach waiting to be discovered.
This beautiful house is perfect for large families and friends alike and offers a good level of comfort throughout. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped complete with a range cooker, ideal for cooking that special meal. The living room offers a great space to relax with solid oak flooring and wood burner, ideal for a cosy night in. This leads on to a stunning orangery with uninterrupted countryside views and large terrace. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished and boast countryside views.
The seaside village of Llansteffan and Dylan Thomas stomping ground the township of Laugharne are both well worth the visit along with Aberglasney Gardens offering the largest single-span glass house in Europe and Ffos Las Racecourse are all within a 20-minute drive and well worth the visit. The seaside town of Tenby and the Gower Peninsula are a great day out and within an hour’s drive. Beach 7 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
