I am not sure what happened with the Internet with Ankit, with almost 4yrs of guests this is is only the 2nd time we have heard of an internet challenge. We have checked our internet & Centurylink claims we are getting our stated speed. Our guest was using it for Software engineering maybe that needs higher speeds? I am disappointed to have received a 3 star review only my 1st low rating, that I feel was not warranted as there was a misrepresentation by the guest when he rented. Unfortunately I will be more careful to ask more questions before I rent to people who require 2 additional people than what was stated to stay & higher internet speeds:(
So very sorry this guest didn’t feel the cottage was a bargain at $61 per night for 4 people ( he stated 2 on his rental confirmation, he got a price & discount for 2) & that I offered to have a new WiFi extender purchased & he stated that was not necessary.
I guess since I stated I didn’t rent to 4 people for a long term rental & asked he find a more suitable space for 2 toddlers & 2 adults, ( I let him stay at the lower price & gave him ample time to find a larger space for his family) he decided a bad review was warranted. Airbnb was apprised of this situation & I worked with them on this problem.
I am quite sad as I didn’t write him a review, so as not to to damage his rental reputation.
I guess trying to be nice even when someone has mis-represented how many occupants will be staying at your Airbnb & trying to be helpful doesn’t work:(
