Located in the lush coffee and tea growing estates of Kirinyaga County, and only an hour and a half away by road from Nairobi, this beautiful home is the perfect weekend retreat. The snow capped peak of Mt. Kenya is visible from the house which is surrounded by beautiful walking gardens, coffee and tea farms as well as newly paved, low traffic highways to some of the oldest resorts and safari getaways in Kenya. The house was built in the late 70's, is beautifully furnished and well maintained.

The house is equipped with a full kitchen with both gas and electric stoves as well as a refrigerator for guest use. With four bedrooms available, the house is well suited for family stays, however, teams of up to eight people will find the environment exceptional for quiet meeting and retreats. Water is heated via electricity, and while there is no backup power supply, power outages are rare. Please note that the house is a strictly non-smoking residence.

There are a few local hotels where dining caters to local cuisine. There are numerous coffee and tea estates that guests can visit. With appointments, a visit to the tea and coffee factories is a special treat. Guests can also arrange for climbing Mt. Kenya also safaris to view Kenya's wildlife. Other tourist resorts such as the Mt. Kenya Safari Club, the Abadares Golf and Country Club and the famous Treetops Hotel are in proximity.
