Sophisticated and Bed & Breakfast-style charm combine in this private cottage located in downtown Little Rock.
Cozy little place and felt homey despite the sketchy neighborhood. Loved that it was close to many things to do in the area. I do believe it could use some update and a bit of cleaning as it had an old locked up house odor that was not pleasant to breathe in.
I'm sorry J and Deidra weren't completely happy with the accommodations. We are located in the Governor's Mansion Historic District, four blocks from the Governorn's Mansion, one block from Philander Smith College and four blocks from SoMa District. I don't think the neighborhood is considered "sketchy". Winslow Cottage was completely updated two months ago including paint, furnishings, bedding etc., so I'm not sure what kind of update would be expected other than a completely different style cottage all together. We pride ourselves on the thoroughness of our cleaning staff so this is something I will discuss with our head housekeeper. The suggestion of an "old house odor" is feedback I've never heard before so I will have to think about that one and see what caused the issue.
