Welcome to "Mossvale". We offer a modern, cosy studio - close to the airport, 15 minutes drive to Launceston and central to wonderful vineyards, historic buildings and great fly fishing spots! Set on 4 acres with Tasmanian native gardens.
Offering a beautiful, tranquil environment, the studio is spacious and inviting. It has a very comfortable queen size bed with an electric blanket, plump pillows and doona. There is a separate bathroom with shower, vanity unit and toilet. Colourful bath towels, hand towel, bath mat and face washer and basic toiletries are supplied. The lounge area has a leather lounge with café table and chairs and a heater. There is also a fridge, toaster, TV and tea/coffee-making facilities including plunger coffee. A delightful continental breakfast is provided.
Gaze out a window and you could see anything from a horse to a native hen. The morning sun can make your breakfast a "toasty" experience!
Little extras like flowers, tissues and chocolate are also provided. I want you to enjoy your time with us :)
The studio is separate from our house. Stroll down under the wisteria to access your front door. There is a circular drive and parking is easy. If staying over the colder months, your car may be kept in the garage allowing internal access via stairs to your unit.
I will welcome you personally and check you in. We live in the main house, so can be around as little or as often as required. If you want a quiet escape, it's yours. If you would like suggestions on what to do in the area, we will be happy to assist with our local knowledge. BONUS: If you're a trout fisherman, hubby will gladly volunteer to show you around !!
Perth, 5 minutes away, has a pub with great counter meals as well as a bakery, supermarket, and coffee shops.
Close to historic Woolmer's Estate, Clarendon House, Evandale Markets, Longford, Symmons Plains, the Central Plateau for fishing, award-winning vineyards and only 15 minutes from Launceston itself. The southern outlet means your trip into the city is very easy and once there, you can explore such places as the Cataract Gorge, the Seaport, City Park or Boag's Brewery. You don't have to go too far to find something to eat or drink!
Smoking is not permitted on this property.
Animals by negotiation but not to be in studio.
Elle-O !! I am a professional, but now enjoying being semi-retired. I'm considerate, friendly and always happy for a yarn, especially if it's over a glass of red wine! I've always wanted to have a B&B and hosting through airbnb is perfect. It allows me to be hospitable and to promote things within the state, as well as meeting interesting people who are welcome to respectfully share our property. Love animals, people, travel, life. We have recently returned from 3 months travelling in Turkey, Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, England, Scotland, Ireland and Dubai - a wonderful experience. My mantra is: Life is for living - make the most of what you have while you have it. I will do my best to make your stay enjoyable.
