Offering a large comfy lounge suite (the best to fall asleep on), nicely presented dining room, full kitchen just waiting for you to whip up a brilliant meal (or warm one up in the microwave and a bathroom consisting of shower, basin and toilet. The bedroom is honestly the best part - serene with gorgeous sounds of crickets and night and birds in the mornings.

There are dogs and cats that reside on the property. Dogs are securely locked away in their own garden. No need to fear them as they are mostly always well behaved, however, they are dogs, so it is best not to taunt them. The cats are predominantly in the main house but do frequent the driveway and, at times, do visit the unit.

Durban North was established as Durban North Estates in 1926. Although there has been a lot of development since then, there are still tell tale hints of the suburbs history dotted in among the suburb.

We are fortunate enough to enjoy our very own CBD, this being Swapo Road, where you will find representation of all South African Commercial Banks, coffee shops, shopping malls (including Woolies and Spar) and a whole lot more. The social hub of the suburb can be found in Mackeurtan Avenue with its large array of restaurants ranging from a Tequila Bar, Irish Pub to Mexican and more.

Access to the more touristy sites are a mere 12 to 20 minute drive away with The Gateway Theatre of Shopping to the north and uShaka Marine World to the South and our golden beaches framing the warm Indian Ocean everywhere in between.

Although I am a pensioner, I am by no means on pension! Having entered the wondrous life of an entrepreneur late in life, I am honestly looking forward to creating relationships with all of who visit us. My greatest achievement is that of my grandchildren - ranging from 21 to 5 years of age, I am kept abreast of modern trends and am incredibly fortunate that I have been able to share their lives with them. I honestly believe in privacy and will ensure that you achieve this as far as I am able to. I am there for you, as your host and I will do my level best to provide accommodation to you that will allow you to recreate all the comforts of your own home. The unit was built for my late father and as such, is step-less with smooth transitions between rooms.
