It is a short walk down the hill on to the beach, which is great for beach combing and rock pooling, and there is also access straight onto the South West Coast Path. To the east you can walk to the National Trust’s Wembury and catch a ferry toward Noss Mayo, or pass around the headland to the west to Bovisand to enjoy some unrivalled views of Plymouth Sound and Plymouth Breakwater. There is a pub within walking distance of the properties and with good access out of Heybrook Bay, there is some great countryside to explore including the impressive Dartmoor National Park. Plymouth, with its rich naval history, has much to see and do. Stand on Plymouth Hoe and watch as the ships pass in and out, or enjoy a stroll through the Barbican and feel the nostalgia of the historic old dock area.
