I feel your review is an unfair reflection of our lovely apartment and our hospitality. We at all times go above and beyond to ensure our guests experience is pleasant and enjoyable whilst visiting our apartment because we know how important holidays are. Communication Communication is key to your holiday and that is why I was very active in ensuring your arrival to La Torre went without any issues. Which you seem to have mentioned in your review. Welcome From experience we feel it’s nice to have essentials available on arrival to the apartment and that is why we supply our Welcome Pack of some essential food items to get you started on your holiday. Our Management Company met you at our apartment and showed you around the apartment, and gave you the keys and the WIFI code. You didn’t have any issues before they left the apartment. Our management company had the Air Conditioning on for your arrival as Spain is experiencing very warm weather, you couldn’t switch the air con off however when our management company visited you the following day they found the issue to be one of the remote controls wasn’t working and you were able to use the other remote control. Our guests pay EUR 60 which covers Meet and Greet on arrival, WIFI code (unlimited use), handover of keys to the apartment and secure underground Car Park. You refer to having to pay the 60 euro on arrival, according to our management company it was your choice to pay it on arrival rather than them requesting it. Cleanliness You mention how important cleanliness is to you and before accepting your booking I checked your reviews and previous hosts have commented on how clean you are because cleanliness is extremely important to us too. We have never had any issues relating to cleanliness before. When you contacted me by email on your arrival to say that the Clothes Airer was rusty because it was outside on the balcony and you weren’t happy with the towels, I contacted our Management Company immediately (on the evening of your arrival). My Management Company visited you in the apartment the following day with a New Clothes Airer and New Towels purchased on the day. I feel our reaction to your need was quick and responsive. Our Management Company felt that “if they had cleaned the apartment 5 minutes before your arrival there would still have been some minute dust on the floor”. As explained in my email to you I don’t receive the EUR 60 and therefore was unable to return it to you when you requested it back after your visit. The Apartment Our apartment is well equipped, with everything that you would need for your holiday which we are sure you would agree with, from the fully equipped kitchen, unlimited use of the Aircon, unlimited use of ceiling fans etc. In Conclusion Julio, you mentioned in one of your many emails to me that when we advertise our apartment we are competing with Hotels. Yes, I do agree with this, however, maybe your needs from an apartment is different when travelling across Europe, as you are, rather than renting an apartment for your annual two week holiday. Our apartment is a holiday apartment, with everything you need to have a wonderful family holiday, from the views to the location, to the Pool. We have repeat visitors year on year with no complaints. Nowhere is perfect however we pride ourselves on servicing our guests whilst they stay in our apartment as we feel that our apartment is like a Guest Staying in our Home and something we take pride in.
