Gridndstone is a peninsula on Lake Winnipeg. As part of the Hecla-Grindstone provincial park, it's a thickly-wooded wildlife refuge which doesn't allow any ATVs or motorcycles. There are many beaches and woodland walks to take that guide you across the cottage community. It's relatively isolated -- 20-30 minutes off the highway down a gravel road, but there is a general store in the neighbourhood that carries essentials.
