I usually keep bird seed in the laundry room, you will see birds if you keep the platform on the shed filled. In warmer months I try to leave hummingbird drink in the fridge. You will see hummingbirds from May till Sep.

This space is unique due to it being out away from people. It also keeps you centralized to the sights people come to see. Miner's Castle is about 15-20 minutes out, Chapel Basin Parking is about 20-25 minutes out, Grand Marais is about an hour away, Munising is 15 minutes out, Kitch-iti-kipi the Big Springs is about 25 minutes away. Colwell Lake is 5 minutes out, Manistique is about 20-25 minutes south. Boot Lake Bar and Grill is just down the street.

I live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where we can get 200+ inches of snow per year. I love being away from the city and right in the middle of the wild. I am also a photographer and drone pilot, you will see my art on the walls of my rentals. They are for sale but also offer ideas of places to visit while you are here. I've been renting houses with Airbnb for over 2 years. I've gotten the chance to interact with a lot of guests and I have gotten a pretty good idea about what people expect when visiting the UP.
