I am a sheep farmer in rural Iceland. 30 years ago me and my husband bought a nearby farm where we transformed the old farmhouse into a hostel and built a couple of cottages that we rent out to tourists.

I'm not always around at the hostel when guests arrive but there is a telephone by the entrance where guests can call me free of charge for check in.
