Beautiful renovated house with huge private garden and saltwater pool. Stay in Polhena and enjoy the nearby beaches and surf breaks. The house consists of three rooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a poolside verandah with a relaxing view over the garden. If you prefer to only relax, we love to serve our delicious local food and offer several breakfast options.

Sambol Garden House is located in a 2 acres garden with a lot of fruit trees and wild animals. You find the house on a calm street in the heart of our village.
The bedrooms all have a king-size bed, the living room has a daybed. Through the door of the kitchen, you access to garden and pool. The poolside veranda is the perfect place to eat, drink, relax or just enjoy the beautiful garden.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a four hub gas stove, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, a blender and all kind of stuff for home cooking. Should you opt to not use the kitchen, we are happy to serve our delicious food cooked with local ingredients and homegrown stuff.
We try to avoid the use of single-use plastic and support our guests to do so. Our bed- and cushion covers are made by "AMMA Sri Lanka". Beach towels and reusable shopping bags are provided by "Rice&Carry". Soaps, washing powder and dish wash-liquid we get from "Moonshadow" and shower-gel and shampoo from "Helinta Eco". All these brands care about social and environmental impacts of production and products - as we do.
10% of our revenue we donate to "Sambol Foundation".

The house is situated in the quiet village of Polhena on the outskirts of Matara. It is perfectly located to explore the many beautiful beaches in the area.
