A purpose built tourist apartment capable of welcoming parties from 1 to 8 guests, set in the grounds of a small compound run by Englishman Philip and his Philippino partner Angela. Air conditioned with en suite bathroom with shower, freshly laundered linen and towels provided and a delicious cooked breakfast included. Use of a traditional outdoor Philippino Kubo to sit and have a relaxing evening drink and enjoy the mature gardens with local flowers and fruit trees, the lovebirds and the ducks that live on the site.

Apartment, garden, Kubo, driveway, and a 3-5 minutes walk from Kuyba Almoneca. Guests who are interested in agriculture can come and explore our on-site mushroom growing area, where we cultivate special varieties of oyster mushrooms along with a variety of other fruits and vegetables.

Angela will cook guests a delicious breakfast (included in the price). There is access to Wifi, and the bth bedrooms have a flatscreen television and a fridge where guests can store cold drinks and snacks etc. There is a small balcony just outside the apartment overlooking the gardens. Angela and Phil also operate a tour agency and can book guests on to any number of the many wonderful tours around the island, including an unforgettable firefly watching trip, an El Nido tour with accommodation, Honda Bay island hopping and the spectacular Underground River-definitely not to be missed. They can also book flights for guests at reduced rates.

For the majority of the time both Angela (Philippino, fluent in Tagalog and English) and Philip (English) will be on site (we live in the adjoining house on the compound) to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, provide food and drink for a small charge (including delicious traditional Philippino dishes- Angela is an excellent cook!), and book tours and trips for you around the island. Both are warm, friendly and welcoming and will do all they can to ensure that your stay goes smoothly.
