Affordable and Cozy Suite in Whistler, BC
Be prepared for a really small place. There was a strong odor in the air as soon as we walked in. The wi-fi instructions were not laid out clearly in the welcome document. I had to message him to find out it was labeled on the desk. Several flights of stairs were cumbersome, espe…
We appreciate feedback from our guests and we would to take the opportunity to clarify a few issues mentioned in Robert's review. The condo is professionally cleaned and inspected by a reputable company in town after every stay. Since it is a residential building it is possible that an odour from a neighbor cooking may have come into the unit but there is no odour that is normal in the condo. This is the first time we have heard of this happening from the dozens of guests we have had stay here. We do encourage guests to take the time to read the listing description thoughly before they book so they book a place which will meet all of their needs and expectations. It is outlined clearly in the description that the condo is small, budget-friendly, and that there are stairs to the condo and also that the wifi info is located on the desk which is very obvious and also located in the house manual on Airbnb. Robert asked us to pay for his cell data which we deemed as unreasonable as it is a standard and common travel expense. He sent us one Airbnb message on his phone and then requested $10 from us to pay for his data plan while in Canada. All of the info he needed was already provided to him in the house manual on Airbnb well in advance of his stay, which would have provided him all of the info he needed if only he had taken the time to read it. This simple action would have resolved the need for him to use the data on his phone and prevented him from incurring extra travel expenses.
