Haleakala Sunrise Information:
Beginning on February 1, 2017, visitors in personal or rental vehicles wishing to view sunrise at Haleakalā National Park will need to make sunrise viewing reservations ahead of (EMAIL HIDDEN)
Online reservations are now available up to 60 days in advance of your visit. The cost is $1.50 per car.

The reservation fee is not part of the entrance fee. Entrance fees will be collected upon entry to the park. Visitors with national park passes, please have your pass and ID ready to present at the gate for entry.
Reservations are only for sunrise and can only be used on the day that was reserved.
Weather is constantly changing at the summit of Haleakalā and they can’t predict whether a sunrise is going to be clear or cloudy. There will be no refunds or exchanging reservations for a different day.

We’re happy to see you, and we want you to enjoy your stay with us. That’s why we ask all of our guests to follow these simple rules, so that we can help to ensure that everyone’s experience is a positive one. It’s all about making pleasant happy memories of your vacation in Maui – so that you’ll come back and see us again!
1.Check in time is not before 4 PM and no later than 9 PM, check out time is 11 AM, unless other arrangements were agreed on with the management of Hale Komo Mai.

3.Please turn off lights when not needed. If guests are out all day and any lights is turned on we reserve the right to enter the unit and turn it off.
4.Laundry facilities can be found next to the garage; the cost is $2.00 including provided detergent.
5.Guests are requested to keep the rooms tidy and not to have any open food on the counters.
6.Overnight visitors are not permitted. Any visitors must leave the premises prior to 9 PM.
7.Quiet hours are from 9 PM till 8 AM during which noise shall not disturb anyone on a neighboring property. When leaving for a Haleakala Sunrise tour in the middle of the night please be as quiet as possible. Consider that the other guests are asleep.
8.Please keep the volume down on any TV, radio, audio system, so that it is not audible from the outside the room. The owners reserve the right to require these items to be turned off if they are disturbing other occupants of the house.
9.Guests are asked not to move, remove or change furniture, pictures, wall hangings or other room decoration.
10.Guests agree that any of her/his group members, including children, and or those who are legally allowed onto the property, shall pay a replacement value and or repair cost for any furniture, fixtures and or fittings being damaged during the term of the hire.
11.Any open fires or the burning of any candles in the unit is NOT PERMITTED and therefore the hirer has full responsibility and liability for any damage or personal damage resulting from such activity. Smoking is not allowed inside the units and therefore the hirer has full responsibility and liability for any damage to the unit or any personal injury to themselves or others resulting from smoking inside the unit. Smoking is not allowed on the entire property !
12.The hirer agrees that the persons occupying the unit will not exceed the number of persons indicated on the booking confirmation, unless agreed upon by the management.
13.The hirer agrees that the management of Hale Komo Mai will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage of any personal belongings, cash, jewelry and or motor vehicles, however cause, during their stay.
14.The hirer agrees that the management of Hale Komo Mai will not be held responsible or accept any liability or issue any refunds, for occurrences resulting in loss of occupancy or personal injury cause by circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as faults in electrical or plumbing installations, the breakdown of domestic appliances, invasion of pests, exceptional weather conditions, flooding or bush fires etc.
15.The hirer agrees that the management of Hale Komo Mai reserves the right to decline accommodation to, or expel, any hirer or visitor for conduct, which, in its sole view, is detrimental to the property, or to the comfort of any other visitors.
16.The hirer agrees that the management of Hale Komo Mai to enter the unit at any time but will endeavor to do so only when convenient to the hirer and when absolute necessary.
17.The hirer agrees that the use and/or sale of any illegal substance are strictly prohibited either in the unit or on its surrounding property.
18.The hirer agrees that any dispute arising between the management of Hale Komo Mai and the hirer, if not mutually resolved shall be referred to a single arbitrator to be agreed on.
19.Vehicles shall be parked on the designated onsite parking area and shall not be on the street at any time.

For the last 12 years we have been running a legal vacation home and Guest House in Kihei near Wailea on the south side of Maui.
This beautiful quiet vacation property is located in an upscale neighborhood - just steps away from the ocean, close to lots of dining and shopping places.
We live onsite and take care of the house, garden & rentals ourselves.
There are 3 rentals: the Aloha Studio and the Sunset Suite are located in the main house, and the Cottage Oasis is located in the backyard close to the main house.
Each of the rentals sleeps 2 persons
We love tranquility and quietness - we love to host guests with the same intentions.
Our property/rentals are absolutely non-smoking and not so much suitable for children.
