Goilin Cottages is located just off the N67. It is 5km from Lahinch and has a little beach 200m to the rear. The cottage is cosy and tastefully decorated with a double bed and a single bed.
The kitchen & living is a combined area with an open fire.
Pjs place was lovely and clean upon arrival. This was a plus point: However I think the space itself was much smaller than noted on air Bnb. There wasn’t a lot of light from the main living room, so if lots of natural light is your thing, you might struggle here. However the p…
Firstly, thank you for the positive points in your review. I am not sure what you mean by the amount of light in the living are? It is a dual aspect room and the cottage is also south facing, so it gets as much natural light as a 100 year old traditional Irish cottage can get. The water issue you had when you arrived was regrettable, but totally out of our control, as we explained at the time. It was a major break in the Irish Water system which affected hundred of houses and businesses in the area that day. It did take me 2 hours to get to you with water, but that was because we had to travel further to get it than we expected when you notified us of the problem. We apologised numerous times for this but it was totally out of our control. The colour of the water when it did return was as a result of the repair work carried out by Irish Water...............again something we had no control over! The cottage is just 5km from Lahinch, so yes, a car is definitely a necessity. Maybe you expected a bigger place, but the pictures are exactly what you get when you arrive! I hope you and Damien enjoyed the rest of your trip around the West of Ireland.
