Our Old Farm House sits quietly in the county and is located less than 15 minutes from the Jordon Creek Town Mall, and less than 25 minutes from downtown Des Moines and the Des Moines International Airport. The house is adjacent to the Great Western Bike Trail for walking, jogging, and bicycling and is the perfect place to relax when you are not busy with work or with family and friends. Do some bird watching or just enjoy the beauty of the countryside at our Old Farm House.

Our house was built in 1890, has been modernized, including high speed internet (50 meg) but there are plenty of features from the original home yet. There is not a flat floor or straight wall, but that is what gives it charm. The entire home is for your use when you are there.

The entire house is for the guest’s use. The yard can be used for playing catch or just relaxing. There are two outdoor decks for the guest’s use as well including a grill for those evening cookouts.

The Great Western Bike Path is right out the door. It is safe and convenient for your use. Walk, jog, bicycle or bird watch - up to you! The house is also at the end of the road, the only passing vehicle is a tractor from time to time and me.

We are close to Jordon Creek Mall, less than 25 minutes to downtown Des Moines and the airport. Norwalk is only 10 minutes away and has everything you need. We are also in a very safe location, at the end of a road with a lot of quiet.
