We purchased our 120 acre farm in 1968. We love the land and spending time with our family and friends. In the early 1980's, we planted over 500 peach trees on the back acreage of our land. For many years we sold our peaches at the Weatherford Farmers' Market and were one of many producers that sold and showed their peaches at the 1st Annual Parker County Peach Festival that is held annually in Historic Downtown Weatherford. We built The Harvester in 1990 and sold peaches, antiques and collectibles for many years. When we became unable to care for our orchard, The Harvester was remodeled into a guest house. We have 4 daughters, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. We are looking forward to making many new friends and memories through The Harvester Cottage!
