The perfect country home and ranch property. Near Central College in Pella, Iowa, the famous Sprint Car National Raceway in Knoxville, and just a few miles from Lake Red Rock. This property and surrounding area offers exceptional hiking, fishing and bird watching. The Harvey Happy Ranch offers it all! My home is 10 minutes from Pella, Iowa.

My home is spacious and comfortable. I have lived here since 1963. It has a real lived in feeling. The bedroom is large and airy. The private bath has plenty of hot water in the shower and all the towels are new. A large living room has queen hide a bed with comfy air mattress. A private bath with tub and hand held shower.
Endless coffee or tea in the kitchen. gas range and microwave. The refrigerator has filtered water and the filter is changed regularly. plenty of ice and kitchen has complete cooking needs.

Visitors may use the whole house I will be sleeping elsewhere on the property. There is a barn with 2 mules, Buster, and Whiskey River, that are gentle for petting. An Australian Shepherd dog and a cat are also roaming the ranch. A very old log cabin is on the property. Access to Des Moines river 2 miles from house for hiking, fishing, and bird watching.
Kitchen is well stocked and laundry facilities are available for a load or two.

I welcome all people to my home. Pets are allowed with prior approval. The cost for one dog is $50.00 for each stay. My home is not toddler-proof. School age children are welcome. infants are welcome. Pets other than dogs need prior approval.

Harvey is a small town. Harvey used to be a railroad crossroads but is now a bedroom town. There is no zoning here and a few eyesore properties. My neighbors are great people who would do anything to be helpful.
