Pete, I’m very sorry that you did not enjoy the property. I'm afraid that your review is quite inaccurate and a very poor representation of our business. The instructions were sent on arrival day at 12:30. My instructions and Airbnb terms state that I am not on the property 24/7, so guests are expected to read their check-in instructions. . Additionally, the house manual states that I am available during normal business hours. My house manual also lists what qualifies as an emergency. WiFi is not listed as an emergency. Although I was not available to take your calls immediately (which was excessive and a bit inappropriate for such a short time window)-I texted you and gave you instructions on how to handle the Wifi situation and you had WiFi within minutes.
You messaged me the next morning accusing me of ignoring your messages, although
you never sent me any. You claimed that the door handle was falling off. We have Schlage electronic door-deadbolts and it is near impossible for the chrome knob to fall off. My handyman Jim went over to fix the “broken” door handle at 11am. When he arrived, he said that it was because you had been typing in the wrong code, which can be verified thru text messages and pictures.
I am not sure what you mean by the seating arrangements, since the pictures accurately display all furniture that is inside of the unit. There is also the entire pool area, which has more than enough seating, including: bar stools at tiki hut, lounge chairs, tables with chairs, etc.
With regards to sales tax, I need to collect 6% Palm Beach County sales tax on each reservation. This is noted in all of the property listing descriptions so that guests are aware prior to booking, which was explained to you and you also agreed to pay it.
I think that you would enjoy Airbnb if you read the host house manuals clearly, so that you would know what to expect. Unfortunately, we are not a good fit for you.
