The cottage is on Knapton Hill, a centrally located, quiet residential area. There are a number of places of interest within this area:

- Just a 15 minute walk away, visitors will find John Smith's Bay beach, which boasts pink sand and crystal clear water. It is popular among both tourists and locals, and is a great spot for snorkeling, with the closest reef only about 200 yards from shore.

- Spittal Pond, Bermuda's largest nature reserve, is just a short walk away. This reserve stretches along the south shore coastline and some 64 acres of land. With winding trails throughout, visitors will be treated to spectacular views and great opportunities for bird-watching.

- Please note since our location is on a hill, the walks back to the vacation rental can be challenging.

- Visitors can walk to Harrington Hundreds Grocer within 5 minutes. A fine food emporium, Harrington Hundreds also offers a variety of beer, wine and spirits, and provides a hot food bar for both breakfast and lunch.

- Located about a 5 minute ride away, Flatts Village is a family-friendly village of shops, restaurants and the fabulous Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo, with clusters of pastel-painted cottages and rustling palm trees. It is also home to Rustico Restaurant & Pizzeria, one of the finest Italian restaurants on the island.

- Just about 5 minutes ride down South Road, at the crossroads of South Shore Road and Collector’s Hill, visitors will find The Specialty Inn, a family style restaurant. Other restaurants just a short distance away are the North Rock Pub & Restaurant, Tom Moore's Tavern and the dining room at Pink Beach Club.

Visitors will find the bus stop (Bus Route #3) heading west into the city of Hamilton conveniently located just 30 yards from the entrance to this studio guest cottage.

The bus stop heading East to St. George's (Bus Route #1) is also conveniently close at 75 yards away.

Since we are located on the East side of the island, please note the bus system stops running at 6pm. In the event you travel by taxi please note their fees increase by 25% on Sunday's and late nights.

The mode of transportation from the airport to our cottage is via taxi. Taxis are readily available at the airport, and the ride to our address should cost approx. US$25 - $35.

We hope you enjoy your stay, and would appreciate you respecting the following House Rules:

1. No smoking inside the cottage at any time.
2. Please conserve water. On our island, each house collects its own water, which can become in short supply during the hot summer months. Please be sure to turn off taps when not in use.
3. Our electricity costs on the island are very high. In order to keep our rental fee down, please conserve energy whenever possible. Please turn off lights, TV and the air conditioner when you go out... it will only take a short time to cool the cottage upon your return.
4. Do not take the bathroom towels to the beach. Please use the beach towels provided.
5. The cottage is a self-sufficient unit (no housekeeping service during your stay). Please treat it just as you would if it belonged to a cherished friend. The property is to be left clean and tidy upon departure, with dishes washed and put away, and garbage neatly bundled and taken to the exterior can.
6. Please do not let the pets inside the cottage, as future guests may be allergic.
7. Call on us for ANY assistance you may require during your stay.
8. Enjoy your Bermuda vacation!!

The Edge is a cozy, clean, and wonderful place to stay that is just a short walk to John Smith's Bay as well as the local grocery store. Robin & Devin ensured that our stay was beyond comfortable. The bed is roomy and comfortable, kitchen is small but just what you need for a night in. There's also an outdoor grill & seating available so you can BBQ. Bus route is a very short walk (just beyond the drive way). Robin & Devin also leave a lot of information in the Airbnb so you can get the full Bermuda experience. If you are planning to stay in this part of Bermuda, I highly recommend staying with Robin & Devin!! Thanks again for a wonderful trip!!

I had an amazing time at Devin and Robin's cottage! I was traveling alone for the first time and felt right at home when I was greeted with a sweet note and dark n stormy's in the fridge. Robin even gave me a quick ride to the grocery store to pick up some things for the week and a bus ticket to get me into Hamilton to pick up my bus pass. The location is ideal if you want to travel by bus since they have a stop right outside. This is the perfect place if you plan on exploring all day and want to come back to a comfortable home at night!

We were very pleased that we stayed in this cottage. The hosts thought of everything that one could possibly need during a visit to Bermuda. The house is easily accessible via the 1 and 3 buses. We also liked that the beach and grocery stores are easy to get to. Thank you, Robin and Devin.

Very cute little cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Robin was very friendly and informative.

Robin & Devin are wonderful hosts, the cottage is equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and as it was Valentine's Day they had let us some treats :) Robin showed us around when we first arrived (a grocery store and John Smith's Beach is just a short walk away) and Devin was so kind to drive us to the airport at the end of our trip. There was a binder full of useful tips about transportation, meals, things to do, etc. and we loved the Dark & Stormies!!

super clean and organized, discrete entrance , complimentary cell phone access, 10 min walk to beach, 2 minutes from public transportation, 8 min walk to supermarket, access to Devin and Robyn when needed , clean bath and beach towels, great tap and bottle water available, great host!!! you cant do better for the value. you will either tell everyone about it or keep it as your special secret. either way your going to be more than satisfied.

An easy hop from the airport on the #3 bus, Devin and Robin's little bungalow was a great retreat from which to launch many adventurous days on the island. While the kitchen was very small and difficult to prepare food in, it was clean and had all the amenities needed. Robin and Devin provided tons of information, guidance as needed, and thoughtful touches to make the trip so much easier (local cell phone, beach towels, for example). We had a lovely visit, and would highly recommend staying with the Milletts!

I moved to Bermuda in 1999 from Nova Scotia, Canada, and I still remember clearly my first impressions of the island - the brilliant blue waters, the green of the trees, the pretty pink sand, the colourful houses... the all-around beauty of the island! My wife, Robin, was born and raised here on the island - she grew up knowing all of the ins-and-outs of life in Bermuda - summers spent snorkeling and diving, climbing trees to pick and eat loquats, falling asleep to the lullaby of tree frogs, riding mopeds down winding Bermuda roadways, greeting every passerby with a "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon" and a smile... all things typically Bermudian! We have enjoyed sharing this special charm and knowledge of Bermuda with visitors to our cottage.
