I have had excellent guests who have treated my home like nothing but their own up until now. Just like all my guests, I walked Chase through my home explaining to him how things operate, including the hot tub. I explained to Chase how it is very important when removing the hot tub cover, that it would need to be unbuckled at each corner and to have two people to lift to remove it, and not to lift it by the flaps which could damage and tear the cover. When I returned, the straps that buckle the cover down to the hot tub were ripped off and still locked into hot tub. A $480 cost out of my pocket to replace. My private medicine cabinet had been broken into and meds are missing. I’m also missing several apple charging adapters along with my apple digital AV adapter that I leave for my guests to use. Chase and his guests played an exterior bag game and built a beer can tower inside on my wood floors and scratched the heck out of my wood stairs from dragging a ice chest down from the second floor. I also found out that Chase had more guests than he had reregistered. There were 8 cars on the brand new concrete driveway, when I was told there would only be 3. I asked him if any of the cars leaked oil to please move them to the grass because the driveway hadn’t been sealed yet, yet I found 3 large oil stains on the driveway after returning. My neighbor said they were up till 4 am very loud smoking and drinking in the hot tub. I have a strict non smoking rule on the property since it is a log home in the woods, which is also stated in my house rules. I found his cigar cutter with his initials on it out on the back patio. I’m just beside myself with the lack of respect and honesty from Chase and his guests.
I wouldn’t recommend hosting Chase Mckittrick.
