My home was built in the early 1900’s during the heyday of the Albuquerque Railyards. When I bought it, it was partly burned, horribly added on to, and only a faint reminder of the history that it was surely steeped in. In an effort to hold onto that history I tore off 3 separate additions and brought the structure back to its original foundation. With 3 walls and part of the roof still intact we started the rebuilding process. A year later the home is now a modern take on that 1900’s home.
