BRECK CONNECT CHALET
Located in the beautiful Shock Hill neighborhood just steps from the Shock Hill gondola station, this 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom luxury mountain home is the perfect place to enjoy your family vacation. With easy access to Peaks 7 & 8 or Main Street using the Shock Hill gondola, your family can come and go easily while enjoying each other in pure mountain elegance. The comfortable layout and cozy mountain feel of this home is brought to life with cathedral wood ceilings, top of the line finishes, and bathrooms connected each of the four bedrooms. Relax in the hot tub or around the fire pit while taking in breathtaking views of Peak 7 and 8. Watch the snow fall from the large picture windows and light and bright great room. Enjoy the well supplied kitchen open to the living area while you warm your toes with the in-floor radiant heat. The home features a washer and dryer, wireless internet, and a private heated garage with plenty of ski storage. 

Location
Come and go as you please in one of Breckenridge’s most preferred neighborhoods. The unique area of Shock Hill sits between town and the base of the ski area with unbeatable access to Peak 7 & 8 with quick walking access to the mid-point gondola station. Because there are a limited number of homes in this area, visitors who stay in Shock Hill will avoid the crowds and enjoy the mountain without lines or hassle. Utilize the gondola access for a convenient ride to town for shopping or a meal.

Please note: The Breckenridge Gondola opens for the Winter season right around November 8th every year and operates daily from 7:45am to 5:30pm during winter months. The gondola does also not run end of April to mid June during moose calving season. The gondola reopens mid June and runs through Labor Day weekend. The hours of operation during the summer are 10am to 5pm. The gondola is free to ride for everyone. You do not need a pass.

A fun side-note. The owner of this property won a contest when the gondola was being built and was honored with naming it the "Breck Connect Gondola"!

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:
1\. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cooking supplies, silverware, crock pot etc
2\. A basic assortment of spices is provided
3\. Coffee filters are provided and all homes have a regular style coffee maker
4\. The house provides dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies for spills, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soaps
5\. Paper products including toilet paper and paper towels are stocked in the house
6\. Towels – 2 bath, 1 hand, 1 wash, and 1 hot tub towel is provided for each guest the homes sleeps
7\. There will be one propane tank and an back up tank at the house if the home has a BBQ grill
8\. Extra blankets, sheets, and pillows are provided for any pull out
9\. Blow dryers provided
10\. Vacuum and broom provided
11\. A pack and play is provided. For liability reasons, we do not provide additional baby equipment. Baby equipment including baby gates can be rented through Baby's Away.


Please note the gondola does not run from mid April through the beginning of June. It typically re-opens by the 2nd week in June.


Cancellation policy during COVID
If the ski area shuts down or a public health order prevents us from hosting you during your reserved time, you will be eligible for a full refund or will be able to reschedule. If someone in your group is sick with COVID, you will be able to reschedule.


Regular Cancellation Policy
Once the reservation is confirmed and the first portion of the payment has been made, those funds are non refundable. The remaining balance will be due thirty days before your arrival. Once the balance is paid, that portion is also non-refundable.
