Klein Boschkloof, a lush green oasis and working farm, surrounded by the Northern Cederberg – the majestic Krakakadouw Peaks on the one side and Platberg (Flat Mountain) on the other side - is situated in the unspoilt Boskloof Valley which borders onto the Cederberg Wilderness Areas, a mere 9km from the town of Clanwilliam.

Architect, Gilbert Colyn who, amongst others, also designed the Conservatoire for Music at the University of Stellenbosch, today still deemed to be one of the finest conservatoires in the world, sensitively transformed this badly neglected building, a former manor house, estimated at being approximately 230 years old, into an upmarket cottage situated between the orange groves and with magnificent views to the mountains. The Cape-Dutch style thatched roof cottage has hand crafted Cedar wood ceilings, Yellow wood doors and Batavian clay floor tiles. The spacious lounge is fitted with large comfortable leather couches. The family size kitchen with fireplace/indoor barbeque is fully equipped and boasts a large wooden table which comfortably seats eights as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. A wide stoep leading off both the kitchen and lounge leads to lawns with a "conference size" barbeque with lapa-style circle seating. With the town and all its modern day amenities in close proximity, Klein Boschkloof is the ideal base from where the Cederberg, Lambert’s Bay, Elands Bay, the mission station at Wupperthal, Namaqualand and many other small towns along the N7 highway can be explored.
