This is a comfortable old house with a homey feel to it. If a home-like atmosphere is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you.
Do not live here if you are disabled. I struggle with a disability and was met with nothing but resistance when it came to my emotional support animals that are protected by the ADA. Leslie is an ableist and was very unaccomodating to someone who was struggling greatly just to ge…
Do not believe a word that this guest says! My previous reviews prove the untruthfulness of Julia's review. This was a hosting nightmare! In fact, it was so bad that I had opted not to do a review on her, hoping to give her a break. But after her false review, I felt compelled to respond. First of all, I am a mental health counselor by profession, and so I would never have negatively interacted with Julia the way that she relates. I hardly ever even saw her throughout the entire stay! And the few times that I did was usually something inappropriate! This is "Fake News" of the worst kind. When Julia first moved in. She moved into one room, enough items to fill a small apartment, and she had no support or other animals of any kind. I only found out she had them when she ha gone to Boston for a week and had left them unattended the entire time. A foul odor began to ovewhelm the entire house and it was my other guest who informed me that she'd had animals in her room. When I called her in Boston, she stated that she had two Guinea pigs in her room as support animals and that she would take care of them in about a week and that I should " back off and give her a break!". I didn't know where the attitude and hostility were coming from, since this had been my first exchange with Julia in the many weeks that she had been there. Prior to this, all I ever did was haul in the Amazon packages that she was ordering at a record three or four packages a week! When she did not return back home after na week to take care of the animals, I called and she stated that she was in the hospital. So you see I had nothing to do with with her admission there. I had not even seen her, prior to admission. On another occasion, she had scheduled a sleepover with her girlfriends, and had not even consulted me. They'd had dishes and cookware all over the kitchen and dining room, preparing for some kind of bake sale. I had come home to people sleeping upstairs and on the living room sofa, and it lasted for two days! And when she finally moved, she'd had so much stuff from before and from all of the ordering, that it filled my living room and dining room completely, while she was waiting for movers. When I had seen her room after her return home, there was only one path to the bed in a room where personal items filled it from floor to ceiling! And when she left, she left a pile of trash and boxes that filled the entire front end of the house! It took me two hours to clean up the mess and break down the boxes for trash pick up. I also have pictures of most of what I am telling you. My advice, never take on this young lady as a guest in your home! I believe she wrote such a horrible review in anticipation that my review would reveal the truth about her. She was not aware that I had decided not to review her, in an attempt to not show her in such an unfavorable light. But after her assessment, she left me no choice!
