I don’t even know where to start with my apology for the problematic series of events my actions caused. I am so sorry for my oversight on my calendar and
the extra time and effort required of you to find alternative accommodation and going back and forth with myself and airbnb.
Whilst there are no excuses, this double booking was a result of an airbnb system outage which effected our availability calendar and allowed the double booking (airbnb will confirm this)
This was a very expensive mistake for us as we were unable to get a refund on the hotel we booked for you, but i do understand if you wasn't happy with that hotel.
My sincere apologies again for the frustration this has caused you.
We take hosting extremely serious and i'm very embarrassed about the situation, which we have put steps in place to ensure it will not repeated.
