Our Lazy Loft Studio is 700 sq. ft private space above our garage-attached to our renovated 1966 Ranch. We are 1.6 miles to KU Campus & 1.5 miles to Downtown Mass st. Star gaze in our outdoor hot tub- open year round and beat the heat in our in-ground pool June 1 to Sept. 1.

*Private en suite master bathroom. Vintage clawfoot tub, walk in shower, dual sinks, french doors.
*Washer/Dryer in garage for guest use
*Queen Tempur-pedic bed
*Futon that folds out to Full size bed
**Leather Sofa Couch and Leather chair,
*55 in TV (no cable) surround sound and Netflix provided
No Kitchen but we have Kitchenette Table:
*Basic dishes provided, cutting board, toaster, microwave and a mini-fridge with a freezer
*Fresh Spring Water dispenser provided
*Keurig Coffee maker
Patio & Outdoor space:
*charcoal grill, gas fire pit, table and chairs, shady patio underneath the balcony, hot tub and pool (pool is open June to end of August)
2 guest bikes available in garage next to entry door.
Walk-in Closet: Lots of extra space to hang clothes, store suitcases etc.
Pros to our space is we live here and are available for anything you might need to help make your stay comfortable and relaxing.
Parking:
*Free street parking in front of our house. We live on a quiet residential street and parking has never been an issue

Our dog's name is Letha. She is a sweet blue heeler/ lab mix. She will bark at first but is quick to warm up. Letha is very aggressive towards small pets and is the reason we can't allow them.

We are a husband and wife team. Erik handles all of the booking communication and quality control over our homes. Sarah is the photographer and caregiver to all the plants. We are dedicated to making sure your expectations are met and your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Our Story: We created the Lazy Loft Studio the first year we were married and it rented to KU students for 11 years. It first listed on Airbnb in 2017. We purchased the Art House in 2018 from a former Lawrence artist. It was his home for over 30 years. He did all the unique tile work throughout the house. And it first listed on Airbnb in the summer of 2018. Erik was a high school teacher for 17 years and is now self-employed. Sarah is a Practice Administrator for an Anesthesia group and a Photographer. We spend much of our free time outdoors and love to camp in our vintage Airstream with our two kids.
