Small house. Private backyard. Nearby attractions: mountain bike trails, disc golf, tennis within 3 blocks! River access 1 mile away.
We went to Paonia for a wedding, and stayed for 2 nights. I had never been to Paonia before, or even used AirBnB. I was a little worried because of this, although I use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). I had nothing to worry about. This was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had. The house: this is a cute, not tiny, but smallish house. Christopher lives there, but is gone and does not bother visitors at all. He said he loves to camp and visit other friends while bnb guests come. That is the truth. Such a nice guy! The two bedrooms have wonderful queen beds, freshly made with quality sheets, blankets and nice pillows. The bathroom is nicely sized with a claw tub and good curtains around the shower. Everything was super clean and the towels were great, soft, plentiful and perfect. The back yard does have a gazebo with older, household furniture under it, and the chairs are comfy and we drank wine and enjoyed it in the evenings. The kitchen is as you might expect, small, and fully stocked. Everything is super clean, including the shelves in the refrigerator he leaves room on. We think Christopher is an artist, and the house has wonderful works of art, and some quirky decorations. Super fun. Other family members had other homes, and none of them had tv access. So no tv was not a problem for us. There was no microwave, but since we were out and about a lot, not a problem this time. He offered tomatos he had home grown, and they were beautiful and delicious. All in all, a great experience for us, 2 couples and a child. If I come back, this house would be super fine. Good travels to all his visitors!
