Good day my fellow Airbnber,
I consider Hirosaki my new home and thus would feel privileged if my guests could see and experience Hirosaki, as well as it's surrounding areas, through my eyes.
I hope you will enjoy staying in the heart of Hirosaki. It is conveniently situated:
10 minutes away from the Hirosaki Train Station by foot.
20 minutes from Hirosaki Castle and Park by foot.
2 minutes from Ito-Yokado(A Japanese Department Store)
5 minutes away from the Hirosaki Bus Terminal
Just as the title of the Airbnb listing states, the room is a traditional Japanese-style six tatami sized room.
Two comfortable single futons,on wooden sunoco(bed base), we'll provide a great night's rest.
The room also features a huge closet with sliding doors that remain true to the overall feel of the room.
The kitchen as well as the bathroom is shared between the guests and owner.
The living room/office and main bedroom is only reserved for the owner.
Just as previously mentioned, I would love to make my guests feel at home. If guests would stay during the weekend I would be honoured to show them around town. Reveal insider secrets as to where to go to eat delicious food, relax in unique hot springs(onsen) and cycle along quiet bike trails. Just to mention a few...
But should the guests want their own space, I would oblige and let them be, only interacting with them should they require any assistance.
Seeing as you, the potential guest, and I would share the kitchen, I feel that you should note the following:
I wake up early and practice yoga quietly in the living room/office. Afterwards I prepare breakfast and lunch in the kitchen and make my way to work in the late morning.
I'll try my best to be as silent as a ninja in the mornings, but there is still a chance that you could wake up smelling delicious aromas coming from the stove. You are more than welcome to try anything that I am cooking, provided your dietary restrictions allow for it.
