Situated in a small hamlet just outside the historic town of Domfront in the Normandy countryside this lovely holiday home consists of a large kitchen diner with fireplace and a lounge with a fireplace with wood burner on the ground floor. On the first floor are two light and airy en-suite double bedrooms, one has bunk beds. All rooms have views of the large garden that surrounds the property with several seating areas and a graveled terrace for outside dining. Plunge pool available in summer.
The large farmhouse kitchen diner is decorated in a traditional style and has a large fireplace. It is well equipped with all the modern conveniences including range gas/electric cooker, fridge freezer and sufficient crockery for 6. A washing machine and dishwasher are in the adjoining utility room.
The comfortable lounge has plenty of seating and a large fireplace with wood burner as a focal point. There is a TV with UK channels and a DVD player.
There is a staircase to access the bedrooms.
A travel cot (please provide your own bedding) and highchair as well as stair gates are available for use.
A large garage is available to store cycles or motorcycles. Parking for vehicles is available on site.

Ideally located for exploring the region - including the D-Day Beaches, Mont St Michel, Avranches, Domfront, Villedieu-les-Poeles, Granville, Bayeux Tapestry, D-Day Museums and the northern Loire. Nearby in Brittany - St Malo with its ramparts, Dinan, Dinard and Fougeres.
Nature lovers will enjoy the huge range of birds and wildlife to be seen in the garden and surrounding area, including woodpeckers, red kites, red squirrel and occasionally an owl, as well as the more usual varieties.
