Stuart's Point shops are five minutes away, importantly there is a bottle shop and a cafe. "The Hot Myrtle restaurant is very close by, there is a Thai restaurant at the bowling club in Stuarts Point. Other excellent local meals are to be found at the Buffalo Farm at Eungai Rail(25minutes) or the Star Hotel in Macksville which overlooks the river.
Grassy Head is very quiet so for the longer stay you may find it best to self cater
