12' lofted ceilings, comfy cozy private place downtown, lots of light with patio. Close to Pike Place Market, Westlake, Waterfront, Ferry, Gum Wall, Post Alley, The Great Wheel, Light Rail, etc. You’ll love my place because of the location, the neighborhood, the ambiance, the people, the walkability, shopping, & the arts.
Although this unit is among the more concise floor plans in the city, high ceilings and lots of light makes this studio feel like a lofty open space while also providing plenty of seating for a group, and the patio allows you to get some fresh air while staying in tune with the surrounding neighborhood activity and scenery.
Guests may access the unit and any door that needs buzzing from the key fob. This includes common spaces but please keep your Airbnb stay discreet if you interact with any building managers or tenants.
My method for checking in guests is pretty seamless so I typically don't meet the guests unless there is a problem
-Parking in downtown Seattle is scarce and expensive as the city has worked diligently to keep cars out. I recommend using public transportation, the light rail, Lyft, Uber, Zipcar, car2go and other methods rather than bringing and parking a car in the city. If you must park a vehicle, parking at the garage of the building is $25 per day and will be your best daily option. Parking is available on the street at times and is free from 8pm-8am and Sundays.
-garbage trucks do operate on the street level in the early morning hours and are loud, it doesn't just happen here, it happens on every street and every building downtown. Keep this in mind and keep your windows closed overnight if you are interested in buffering the sound at all!
-Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime TV and HBO Now provided and logged in for your enjoyment
-a key fob allows you access to the buzz in doors and common spaces in the building
-Must agree to keep your Airbnb stay discreet. Building managers, concierge and other tenants cannot help you find your way or with any other needs you may have during your stay nor should you mention Airbnb, my name or unit #. Any and all questions you may have should be directed toward me :)
-The unit door locks automatically when it closes so please keep your key on you at all times!!!
- Quiet hours strictly from 10pm to 8am every night (my neighbors are extremely sensitive and will complain to security if any noise persists during those hours!)
-Any stains left on towels, linens, pillows, etc that do not come out may prompt an additional charge to replace the items (i.e. do not use towels for make up removal)
- If you must smoke, please use the balcony NOT inside the unit
We're both young techies in Seattle's growing tech industry. If we're not working on our next project, we're at happy hour, or at home for a nice dinner and a movie. Our favorite things to do are explore what's new and hike with our dogs. We're from different parts of the US, but lived in LA for 5 years. We moved to Seattle about 2 years ago, so exploring our city is still new and fun. Please ask us for recommendations of what you'd like to see during your stay. There are so many great places to go and things to see in this beautiful place! :)
