Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
Private use of a 3 bed cottage close to Hitchin, Stevenage, Letchworth and the Lister. Lovely, private residence in a beautiful village just 5 minutes outside Hitchin and close to Stevenage. Modern, recently-converted interior; use of outdoor hot tub at the main residence (next door) and 12ft trampoline (good for kids!); country pub 1 min walk away; private parking (shared with owners); lovely owner family. Good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Comfortably sleeps 4 adults- but slightly more snug for five or six. (Note - only seating for 4 in lounge area, which is a shared studio area with the third double bedroom- and room for 4 adults at square kitchen table).. Kitchen is well kitted out with cooking equipment.

Private driveway is shared with owners (next door in main residence), but plenty of room for 1 -3 cars. Guests welcome to use the outdoor, heated hot tub and kid's 12 ft trampoline.

Once booked, note the driving/ location directions as sat-nav will take you to the wrong side of the village junction! (we can send you a map by text/ email to help). This is also important if intending to use taxis in the area. once you enter our drive way, the cottage is round to your left with parking outside the green garage doors.

Great Wymondley is a pretty little village just on the outskirts of Hichin - lovely little church and a pub (The Green Man) - which serves hearty, reasonably priced meals. Nearby Hitchin town is a pretty little market town - with lots of shops, nice bars and restaurants. Plenty of lovely countryside, woodland walks from the village and country pubs nearby. Just ask us for any recommendations!

Hitchin mum of 3. Female entrepreneur. Currently on maternity leave, but normally found commuting into London 3 days a week - and occasionally travelling overseas for work/ pleasure.

Please tell us if you need to borrow anything - like iron etc. You're very welcome. We also have lots of baby/ child appropriate paraphernalia we can make available (travel cot, high chair etc), so no need to bring.
