Well organized and equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, microwave, toaster oven, stove, coffee maker, wood stove inside, fire pit in the back yard,and BBQ on outside deck, firewood , books, board games, art supplies, and DVD's.Relax in recliner chairs and rest peacefully in comfortable, elegant beds. Enjoy gazing at the stars from your window or in gravity zero chairs outside. Wander through your private mini forest of ferns, hazelnut and poplar trees, dogwood, raspberry and Saskatoon bushes. Put your feet up while young children run around on the wrap around deck with closed gates at front and back. Explore the nearby beaches, forests, dunes. Find local artists and cafes. Map of nearby places is in cottage.

Guests are welcome throughout the cottage and yard. The guesthouse building in the yard will be available July 1, 2021 to groups larger than 8 people. Only one group at a time will be in the space, which means that smaller groups do not have access to the guesthouse. The shed nearest the cottage has extra firewood, the 2nd shed has the cushions for outdoor chairs.

MONTHLY RENTERS PLEASE INQUIRE, APPLY, AND ALLOW TWO WEEKS BEFORE ARRIVING. Our cottage is comfortable for up to 8 people when 2 sleep on each bed. An eggshell foamie can be used with the sofa beds if you like.. . If the microwave and toaster oven are used at the same time the breaker will go off, use these one at a time.

Berrywood Bay is a wide, spacious lane of cottages. The lots are evenly spaced and most are a third of an acre or larger. Walking around the loop of Berrywood Bay is like walking through a park, you will see many trees, birds, squirrels, and possibly deer. Berrywood Bay is considered part of the Hillside Beach area. There is a little store/cafe/ gas station five minutes away. A large playground for children is also five minutes away from our cottage.

Steve and I met through children's camp work, in a forest beside a lake. We have enjoyed exploring the beaches of Vancouver Island , Costa Rica , and Mexico while experiencing many different lodgings and cultures. Grilling over an open fire, inventing s'mores combinations , and adventuring to natural wonders are some of our favourite things to do. The breathtaking beauty of this area captivates us! Many favourite family memories are wrapped up in discovering Elk Island, MB, not far from our cottage. Since our daughters left home we have enjoyed developing Starlight Poplars Cottage as a destination for all to unwind and be renewed through creation and our Creator.
