A newly refurbished self-catering gîte in rural France at the head of the beautiful Gatine valley. Ideal any season for walking, cycling or simply taking time out.
Looking for a beautiful bolthole where you can escape the hassles of everyday life? Le Petit Toit is a lovingly restored gite for two in the grounds of the 15th century La Charpenterie.
The exposed stone wall in the spacious bedroom and the tiled floors, coupled with a beautiful antique bed and other original pieces, mean that the gite retains its old-fashioned charm whilst the well-equipped modern kitchen area and stylish shower room provide every facility you might need for a relaxing holiday.
If you have special requirements or are look for something in particular, get in touch and we will do our best to help.
The gîte has its own patio and barbecue area with views across local fields. You can be completely independent but don't forget to ask if there's anything we can help you with.
We are happy to let you do your own thing and come and go as you please. But we're on hand if the need arises.
The log burner will ensure the gite is cozy on a cool evening whilst on a Summer day, the rear opens onto a patio area where you can sip your early morning coffee as you plan your day or spend the evening stargazing over a glass of wine.
The night skies are wonderfully dark here and if walking’s your thing, head out of La Charpenterie onto miles of country lanes passing fields of sunflowers.
Note that this is a rural setting which is very peaceful but as you'd expect it experiences agricultural activity from time to time.
