The hosts also have a private bathroom.
We are a recently married couple, we like spending time with our extended family and friends, great food and wine.
Big changes in our career paths brought more time and finances so we've upgraded our cosy Victorian villa, in the tranquil village of Langbank.
We've been lucky enough to experience the world wide concept of Air BnB on several occasions. Inspired by the welcome our hosts offered, we decided it was something new we wanted to try. Although Ravenswood is no stranger to house guests and we have been regularly commended for our hospitality.
Here's a little about us - Previously a marathon competitor, Norrie continues to train and take part in organised runs. He can be witnessed 2/3 time a week pounding the neighbourhood in running shoes. Not content with one exercise regime, when his work schedule permits, Norrie also plays 5 a-side football.
Marie is more inclined to be seen with a Yoga mat than running shoes. Since leaving the corporate world in May 2016 she has been dabbling in furniture restoration and enjoys bargain hunting for the next project at auctions and charity shops.
Norrie and Marie (together with best friend John) are founder members of the Calbost Harriers. Our annual trip to the Calbost croft and charity run on the welcoming Isle of Lewis (Outer Hebrides) is the best weekend of our summer always!
Our Life Motto: Make the most of your opportunities and share your good fortune!
